Writing-workshops

Please Note: Lisa’s 6 week novel writing course is now sold out

**Lisa’s next writing workshop will be at Hanley Library on Saturday June 4th**

Lisa brings a mixture of working knowledge and academic experience to her creative writing workshops. She aims to offer ideas and inspiration to get writing and keep writing: to take influence from existing writers, to experiment with form, and to become familiar with narrative techniques and literary devices that writers use to make the short story such an exciting part of our literary landscape.

Lisa has lectured in Creative Writing since 2010, and hosted creative writing workshops for the Adult Community Learning sector since 2008, inspiring students into self-publication:

See Eric Blackburn’s collection of stories, Sue McQueen’s Novel The Magic Stones, and Richard Murphy’s Novel ‘Children of the Fountain.’
